THE WEEKEND

Premier League

  • Man City have a chance to top the league if they win against Southampton on Saturday
  • Tougher games will be on Sunday (27th) when Spurs, Chelsea and Manunited will be on the pitch.
  • The biggest match will be on Sunday when Arsenal takes on Liverpool. If Arsenal looses this match, their campaign is as well as over.

LaLiga

  • El Classico will be on this Saturday as Real Madrid takes on Barcelona at Barnabeu. Read Madrid loss will mean Barcelona will be 6 points clear at the top
  • Athletico will be playing on Sunday away against Real Betis

Other Matches to keep an Eye on

  • Dortmand playing away aganist Augursburg in Bundesliga on Saturday
  • RB Lepzing Vs Freibug Saturday
  • Napoli Vs Lecee and Atalanta Vs Verona on Saturday in Serie A
  • Bayern away against Bochum in Bundesliga on Sunday
  • Inter Vs Juventus in Serie A is also a blockbuster on Sunday in Serie A
  • In Ligue 1, PSG will be away to Marseille on Sunday

WEEKDAYS

  • There will international friendly games (women soccer) for some days in the week
  • Copadelrey matches in Spain, and DFB Pokal matches in Germany from Tuesday
  • Serie A matches (e.g Milan Vs Napoli) on Tuesday and Wednesday
  • On Friday, league matches in Spain, Germany and France.
  • FA cup matches in England Kick off on Friday.

2024 Ballon d’Or

The ceremony will take place on Monday 28th October in France. The award will be based on performances of the season between 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2024.

30 players are nominated for the award and the favorites include Vinicius Jr (Brazil, Real Madrid), Rodri (Spain, Manchester City) and Jude Bellingham (England, Real Madrid)

Other awards will include Ballon d’Or Féminin (for female players),  Kopa Trophy (best player under 21 years), Yashin Trophy (for goalkeepers), Gerd Muller Trophy (Stricker of the year) , Socrates award (best humanitarian work by a footballer worldwide), Men Club of the Year, Women Club of the year, Mens coach of the year, and Women Coach of the year
