October, 2024
The 2024/25 season started on 16th August 2024 and is expected to end on May/June 2025, so far teams have played more than six games and out of the games played some teams have not yet been beaten. Bayern Leverkusen managed to record an unbeaten campaign in the League last season and we will see the same this season with any club in Europe’s five major leagues. There are 96 teams in Europe’s five major leagues and here are the teams that are unbeaten this season so far.
MANCHESTER CITY
The Premier League champions are gunning for a fifth successive Premier League title, they were seconds away from defeat when a late goal from John Stones saved them to a 2-2 draw against Arsenal. They have played six League games where they have won four and two of them ended up in a draw.
ARSENAL
With their midfielder star Odegaard injured and playing two matches with ten men due to red cards, Mikel Arteta’s side haven’t been beaten this season. They held Atalanta to a draw in their first UEFA Champions League fixture and are faced to host PSG on 2nd October in their second UEFA Champions League fixture.
REAL MADRID
The current UEFA Champions winners signed Kylian Mbappe and he is expected to play his first El Clasico on 27th October 2024. They have played eight games in the league unbeaten, won the Super Cup and won their first UEFA Champions League fixture against Stuttgart.
ATLETICO MADRID
Diego Simeone’s side is unbeaten with draws against Villarreal, Espanyol, Rayo Vallecano and Real Madrid and a win against Germany’s side RB Leipzig in their UEFA Champions League first match. They currently hold the third spot in the La Liga League table.
JUVENTUS
The last three Serie A outings have ended up goalless and they have recorded five successive clean sheets so far, they won their match in the opener game in the UEFA Champions League against PSV.
EMPOLI
They have played six league games where they have won two and four of them ended up with draws, they held Juventus to a goalless draw in the League. Empoli defeated Torino in their match in the Coppa Italia Cup.
BAYERN MUNICH
Vincent Kompany’s team broke their own UEFA Champions League record by scoring nine goals against D. Zagreb in their opening UEFA League phase. Out of the five Bundesliga games played, they have won four and ended up with a 1-1 draw against Bayern Leverkusen.
MONACO
Monaco started their UEFA Champions League campaign with a victory over Barcelona, in their Ligue 1 standings they share points with PSG and are second having won five League games and one draw.
PSG
Luis Enrique’s side is doing better despite the departure of Mbappe at the start of the season, with just only one draw in the League having played six games they top the League standings.
Do you think there is a chance a team can maintain their unbeaten run this season?
