FOOTBALLERS WITH NO CAREER GOALS

Football is an entertaining sport to watch especially if the game has incredible goals, any player on the pitch can have a chance to score a goal including the goalkeeper if they are in the right position. A game can also be boring if it ends in a goalless draw despite having many dangerous attacks but failing to get the ball at the back of the net, especially for gamblers who placed a certain team to win. Many players are well known for the number of goals they score for their teams while a few players have played their entire career without scoring a single goal.

Here are some of the football players who are unlucky and ended their careers without their names on the score sheet.

TONY HIBBERT

Hibbert started his career at Everton FC in the year 2000 and made 265 appearances before he retired in 2016 but never scored even a single goal. He had 8 assists and at one time hit the woodwork once.

CARLOS KAISER

Carlos was a striker but never scored a goal nor played a game in his 13-year career as a professional player, the one time he was on the pitch playing he did receive a red card. He has been signed by nine different football clubs but could come up with excuses and deceive the managers so that he could not play a game.

LUIS CUARTEROH

The former Spanish player made 175 appearances but was unluckily unable to enter the score sheet, he played for Real Zaragoza his entire professional career.

DEAN AUSTIN

Dean played for Tottenham between the years 1992-1998 and had 124 appearances but never scored a goal, he was out of action for a while due to a knee injury before departing to Crystal Palace.

LUCAS RADEBE

Lucas started his career as a goalkeeper and later became a Leeds defender, he left Leeds in 2005 making 197 appearances without passing the ball against any other goalkeeper.

FRANK WOMACK

Frank played over 500 games with various football clubs but never saw the score sheet in the early 20th century. Despite not scoring a goal Frank has had a successful managerial career, coaching teams like Leicester City, Notts County and Oldham Athletic.

Do you think the list missed any football player?
