Have you ever wondered how you can place a bet while gambling/betting in Football. Do not worry we have prepared an article to guide you on the various options you can place a wager.

There are different types of methods one can place a bet the most frequently used include:

• 1×2
• Over or Under
• Either team to score (GG) or No Goal (NG)
• Double chance (DC)
• Correct score
• Handicap

1×2

Here abet is placed on who will win the match 1 being the home team, X meaning the match will end in a draw while 2 being the away team wins the match, you can either predict these in full-time or 1^st half.

Over or under

Here one predicts the total number of goals the match will produce for instance if one places over 2.5 goals it simply means that the match will produce more than three goals whereas under means that the total number of goals will be less than three goals. Other options are:

3.5- 4 goals or less

4.5- 5 goals or less and so on.

GG or NG

Goal-Goal means that both teams will score in a match while No goal is the opposite that one team will not score in the 90+ minutes.

DOUBLE CHANCE

One can either predict that the home team will win or draw (1X), either the home or away team will win the match (12), or the away team will win or draw (X2)

CORRECT SCORE

One can predict the correct score line in the 90+ minutes during a game and the odds of this particular type of betting are usually high.

HANDICAP

It simply means that it provides a team with a goal advantage or disadvantage.

Other types of betting

• DC & GG : This combines DC and GG
• Halftime/full-time: This combines results for half time and full time
• Total corners: the number of corners in a match
• fouls and bookings: the number of red cards and yellow cards in a match
• Exact goals: predicting the number of goals in a match
• and multi-goals just to mention but a few
