It’s another weekend for football action, as most European Leagues have reached the second leg of the season. Here is a look at the teams to watch this weekend.
Premier League (Match Day 23)
- Can Chelsea beat Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, January 25th, at 2030 hrs (EAT)? Chelsea have not beaten Man City in their last ten head-to-head matches. Chelsea is in fourth place with 40 points, while City is in fifth place with 38 points.
- Leicester City are still struggling in the relegation spot under their new manager as they will travel to face Tottenham Hotspur who are at position 15 in the League table, the match will kick-off on Sunday 26th January at 1700hrs (EAT)
Bundesliga (Match Day 19)
- Borussia Dortmund recently sacked their head coach after a humiliating defeat to Bologna in the UEFA Champions League and they have only won one match from the nine matches played across all competition. Dortmund will host Werder Bremen on Saturday 25th Jan at 1730 hrs (EAT)
- The battle of the top-five showdown will take place when RB Leipzig will host Bayern Leverkusen on Saturday 25th Jan at 1730 hrs (EAT)
Serie A (Match Day 22)
- Juventus’ focus is on the top-four spot in the league table as they will travel to face the League leaders Napoli on Saturday 25th Jan at 1730 hrs (EAT)
Ligue 1 (Match Day 19)
- Will Nice have the chance to defeat Marseille at home to boost their hopes of finishing in the top four of Ligue 1 for the first time since the 2016/17 season? The kick-off will be on Sunday 26th Jan at 2245 hrs (EAT)
LaLiga (Match Day 21)
- Atletico Madrid is eyeing their first La Liga title since the 2020/21 season as they will welcome Villarreal on Saturday 25th Jan at 1815 hrs (EAT).
